*Il Verdicchio tra Jesi e Matelica* is a book that allows us to discover one of the greatest wines in Italy. Francesco takes us on a historical journey through the vines of the Marche and the municipalities where Verdicchio is produced, focusing on some of the best wine makers.
On Sunday, January 31 he is coming to our trattoria to tell us about his book in person. We will have a chat about our beloved Verdicchio, which has recently earned a place of honor in worldwide enology.
The evening will be chaired by another great lover of food and wine in the Marches, Maurizio Silvestri. After the presentation of the book, we will prepare an informal dinner, as one would enjoy in an old inn on a cold winter evening, with a steaming soup and long-cooked offal, pasta in golden broth and a velvety pâté de fois gras. What about wine? It’ll be Verdicchio, of course.
